This statement sets out the Privacy Policy that The Common Sense Divorce (“CSD”) adheres to with respect to the information gathering and dissemination practices for the website www.commonsensedivorce.ca and all associated pages including the pages hosted by IBM’s Bluemix Cloud Platform (the “Site”). It is provided to inform CSD clients of its commitment to privacy, the information it collects, how that information is used, and under what circumstances the information is disclosed to third parties.
CSD may collect personally identifiable information, such as your e-mail address, name, physical address or telephone number (“Personal Information”). CSD may also collect other Personal Information that you voluntarily provide to CSD through responses to surveys, questionnaires, email requests, and similar communications.
Information about your computer hardware and software may also be automatically collected by CSD. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used by CSD for the operation of its services, to maintain quality of its services, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the services.
CSD may also collect information about you and your use of the Site through the use of Cookies. This information assists CSD in generating content and advertising specifically designed for clients.
CSD does not collect and store billing and credit card information. This information is handled by a third-party payment processor.
CSD is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on websites outside of the Site it operates.
CSD collects and uses your Personal Information to operate our Site and deliver the services you have requested. In this, CSD may use your Personal Information to make predictions about ways in which CSD can provide its services. CSD may also use your Personal Information to inform you of other products or services available from CSD and its affiliates. CSD may also contact you to participate in surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current services or of potential new services that may be offered. By using the Site, you consent to the collection and use of this Personal Information by CSD.

You have the right to access, update and correct inaccuracies in your Personal Information within CSD custody and control, subject to certain exceptions prescribed by law. You may contact CSD to make a request about your Personal Information using the contact information set out in Section 7 “Contacting Us”.
You may be required to provide sufficient proof of your identity at this time to ensure the safety and security of the Personal Information CSD holds and that it is provided to individuals in accordance with this Policy. CSD reserves the right to decline to provide access to Personal Information where the information requested: would disclose Personal Information of another individual or of a deceased individual; is not readily retrievable and the burden or cost of providing would be disproportionate to the nature or value of the information; does not exist, is not held, or cannot be found; could reasonably result in serious emotional harm to the individual or another individual, or serious bodily harm to another individual; or may harm or interfere with law enforcement activities and other investigative or regulatory functions of a body authorized by statute to perform such functions.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in CSD Personal Information practices. The revised Privacy Policy will be posted on the Website. CSD will treat your Personal Information in accordance with the policy in place at the present time, or as you otherwise consent.
